Jan 3 I will unclutter
I came up with some New Year’s Resolutions, but I left some off the list. The main reason for the edit was because they didn’t fall into the SMART principle. This is one that didn’t make it: I will unclutter.(Continue reading...)

Dec 27 Share screenshots with kwout
There’s a new screenshot sharing service that allows people to share exactly what they see on the page with other people. Think of it as easier, smarter, more accurate quoting. That’s because you’re not quoting the text, you’re quoting the site.(Continue reading...)
Dec 20 I am bored
A few days ago I was complaining about social networks and working for the man to get my whuffie on. That’s when I said I didn’t want to put any effort at all into other people’s stuff. What free time I have on the interwebs should solely be for my own benefit, as it were.

The problem, of course, being…I love me some wasting time. Of the things I am capable of accomplishing, time–killing is pretty much on the top of the list. The $64,000 question is this: how do I turn this to my advantage?(Continue reading...)

Dec 3 Grayscale iPhone Wallpapers
I’ve been pretty harsh over the past few months when dealing with Apple’s iPhone. It’s almost a great piece of hardware, but has lots of flaws — just like any other cellular phone. For the past few months I’ve also been pretty envious. As abundant (and egregious) the flaws, I still want one like crazy.

But I don’t have one…yet…(Continue reading...)
Nov 29 Lindsey Stomp — Hip Hop Violin
When I first saw this, my initial reaction was as a lot of other people’s: bewilderment. That is, of course, the people who even know what bewilderment is. For those people, it’s the feeling you get when you see this video for the first time.(Continue reading...)
Nov 27 Carpe Diem
I’m in a time of prayer for a baby who’s in an intense battle with her heart. She got through the open–heart surgery, and now must survive the recovery. It reminds me so much of how fragile life is, and how something that brought so much joy into people’s lives is also the source of their greatest fear.

I lost my mother several years ago to cancer, but I was fortunate to have a father who cared whether I lived or not. What I’ve had is more than a lot of people can say they’ve had — I’ve been blessed. We’ve all been blessed, really, with — if nothing else at all — life.(Continue reading...)

Nov 20 Quit poking me!
I will say this, I’d rather have people who care enough to poke me, rather than being an old, forgotten loner. Still, it would also be great if it would JUST STOP!(Continue reading...)

Rarely in this life am I afforded the opportunity to showcase something as close to myself as the YouTube videos I present here. And by “myself” I mean “thank the Lord on high that I never went ahead and ever actually used that D&D game I bought in the mall.”(Continue reading...)
Nov 13 Uncluttered
If you haven’t noticed, I seem to be all about minimalism. In site design, in online activities, and in general philosophy. It really isn’t about minimalism — it’s about being uncluttered.(Continue reading...)
